Seattle Children’s Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center offers classes and activities for adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities as they transition out of the education system and into adulthood. The Burnett Adult Life Center hosts year-round classes and activities for adults age 18 or older that promote lifelong learning and independence, enhance quality of life and provide meaningful ways to take part in the community. lifelong learning opportunities for young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

The Highland Community Center provides programs that give people with disabilities opportunities for recreation, socialization and learning, which help people to participate more successfully in the community. The center offers a wide array of recreation, sports, fitness, cultural arts and social programs.

To provide additional daytime recreational opportunities for those living with disabilities, the center also partners with other agencies, such as Bridge of Promise. Staff work hard to provide requested accommodations.
